Today, Automotive Newsreleased its list of “100 Leading Women” in the North American auto industry and GM had 16 female leaders highlighted on the list. The magazine noted that dramatic changes occurred in the industry since the last list was published five years ago. “Nearly half of the 2005 Leading Women have left the automobile business for jobs in other industries. And many have been directly affected by the financial crisis of the past few years.
